Authentic Corps of Royal New Zealand Military police (RNZMP) metal corps badge, brand new.

Each corps or regiment in the New Zealand Army has its own insignia, called a corps badge (also known as a cap badge or hat badge), to be worn on berets and headdress as a way to easily identify the wearer’s corps.

The corps badges of the RNZMP features a silver St Edward’s Crown above a blue background with the letters “MP” in the centre. It is surrounded by a border inscribed with “Royal New Zealand Military police” and enclosed by fern leaves. Below is a silver scroll inscribed with the corps motto “ko tatou he tauira” meaning “by example we lead”. The corps badge is fitted on the reverse with 2 metal clutch pins.
