Authentic New Zealand Cadet Corps (NZCC) metal corps badge, brand new.

Each corps or regiment in the New Zealand Army has its own insignia, called a corps badge (also known as a cap badge or hat badge), to be worn on berets and headdress as a way to easily identify the wearer’s corps. The NZCC is not an official corps of the New Zealand Army. Also known as Army cadets, it is one of three corps in the New Zealand Cadet Forces, a voluntary military-style training organisation for New Zealand youth aged 13-21, run in partnership with the New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF).

The golden corps badge for the NZCC features two crossed taiaha with the Southern Cross and “NZ” in the centre. It is surrounded by fern leaves and surmounted by the St Edward’s Crown. Below is a scroll inscribed with “Cadet Corps”. The corps badge is fitted on the reverse with 2 screw back pins.
