Authentic, brand new, Officer Cadet School (OCS) unit patch.

Each unit in New Zealand Army has its own unit patch, designed to be worn on the left sleeve. The insignia on the patch represents the unit the wearer is posted to.

The OCS patch is a stitch on (not velcro) patch in black with gold embroidery. The design consists of two fern leaves enclosing the letters “NZ” above a scroll with the word “Onward” and surmounted by a Tudor crown. Underneath are the letters “OCS (NZ)”.
