Authentic Royal New Zealand Corps of Signals (RNZSigs) two-piece bi-metal corps badge with back plate, brand new.

Each corps or regiment in the New Zealand Army has its own insignia, called a corps badge (also known as a cap badge or hat badge), to be worn on berets and headdress as a way to easily identify the wearer’s corps.

The corps of the RNZSigs features the silver figure of Mercury )often referred to as “Jimmy”) holding a caduceus in his left hand with his right hand held aloft, poised on his left on a silver globe. The globe is surmounted by a golden scroll inscribed with the corps motto “Certa Cito” meaning “Swift and Sure”. Below the globe is a second golden scroll inscribed with “Royal NZ Signals”. Above the figure of Mercury is a golden St Edward’s Crown detached from the rest of the badge. The corps badge is fitted on the reverse with 3 metal clutch pins.
