Authentic, brand new, Queen Alexandra’s 2nd Wellington West Coast Mounted Rifles (W.W.C Mtd Rifles) unit patch.

Each unit in the New Zealand Army has its own unit patch, designed to be worn on the left sleeve. The insignia on the patch represents the unit the wearer is posted to.

The W.W.C Mtd Rifles unit patch is a stitch on (not velcro) patch in grey with army green embroidery. Embroidered in black is a ponga tree enclosed in a circle with the words “Queen Alexandra’s and “2nd W.W.C Mtd Rifles. Underneath is the motto “Ake ake kia kaha” which means “For ever and ever, be strong”.
